Bridget Deering is an Innovation Strategy Consultant based in Lakeville, MN. She graduated from the College of Saint Benedict in 2009 with a degree in Business. From there, she got her start in the Farm Credit System, discovering the power of meaningful relationships to build strong teams and cultures.
In 2016, Bridget took a leap of faith and became an employee at a Pre-Series A startup, focused on delivering online mental health programs for a variety of groups. This work propelled her to further explore the healthcare and technology intersection, and after successfully leading a major transformation project for two merging organizations, it was time to shift from innovative health care models, back to her passion for serving rural America. Today, she does this by leading and collaborating with others in order to advance innovation initiatives and strategic goals within Compeer Financial.
In addition to being curious and a lifelong learner, Bridget has a passion for making the world more inclusive for all, and exercises this by being part of the Diversity and Inclusion team at Compeer. This work, along with volunteering for various organizations and mentoring at her alma mater, bring her energy.
Bridget needs this energy at home, as she chases after her two toddler girls, two yellow labs, and a husband who always has a project or two around their place in the country. When not devoting time to working or family, she loves traveling, experiencing new restaurants, and practicing yoga. Her commitment to excellence and passion for helping others shines through in her work and have made her a respected partner in both personal and professional communities.
