Jeff joined Cargill in 2019 as its North American leader for Credits & Incentives and held this role until December 2022. In January 2023, Jeff moved into the new role of Director of North American Real Estate & Incentives with oversight of a team of seven real estate and credits & incentives professionals. Prior to Cargill, Jeff was the Executive Director of Business Development for the State of Minnesota from 2015-2019 and held a similar role for the State of Iowa from 2002 – 2010.

He was also with the Real Estate & Location Strategy practice of Deloitte Consulting’s Chicago office from 1996-2002, and again from 2012-2015 focused on corporate location strategy, site selection, credits & incentives analysis and negotiations. Jeff earned Bachelor and Master’s degrees in Economic Geography and Spatial Analysis (Geographic Information Systems) from the University of Northern Iowa.
