In 2021, Chris Larson joined the Emerging Growth Regional Coverage (EGRC) group focused on strategic advisory and capital raising transactions in the upper Midwest. Chris joined BofA Securities in 2019 and has significant investment banking and corporate finance experience across a variety of industries.
Chris has led the origination and execution of a number of advisory and financing transactions for clients advising on over $50 billion in value of sell-side, buy-side and capital raising transactions including IPOs, equity follow-on offerings, investment grade and high-yield offerings. Selected transactions include advisor to Telecity on its £2.4bn merger with Equinix, MyOptique on its sale to Essilor, CD&R on its 60% equity stake in Capco, Fleetcor on sale of NexTraq to Michelin, Silver Lake on its $3.5bn acquisition of Blackhawk Networks and ECI Networks on its sale to Ribbon Communications. Additionally, Chris acted as Joint Active Bookrunner to Casa Systems on its IPO and related follow-on offerings among other equity offerings in the North American and EMEA regions.
To further extend the reach of BofA’s local GCIB coverage model in the upper Midwest, Chris will focus on clients primarily in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa and the Dakotas. Most recently he worked on BofA’s New Yorkbased TMT team covering a broad set of TMT verticals including Communications Infrastructure, Online Gaming, Software, IT services, Payments and CommTech among others. Before joining BofA Chris worked at Barclays for five years both in London and in New York covering TMT and spent one year with HSBC in London.
Chris was raised in the Twin Cities and received a Bachelor of Arts at the University of Minnesota before receiving his MBA at Columbia University in New York. Between his undergraduate and graduate schooling, Chris worked in the CPG industry for several years at Nestle, Pepsi and Coca-Cola.
