Megan leads the Energy & Environment Section at the Minnesota Department of Agriculture, and her portfolio includes bioeconomy and advanced biofuel programs, food system planning, environmental review and agricultural land preservation programs, and climate initiatives. Over the past 15 years she has worked at the nexus of working lands, conservation, and climate. Prior to joining MDA in February 2022, Megan worked as the Minnesota Board of Water and Soil Resource’s legislative coordinator. Megan earned M.S. degree in Soil Science from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities.
