Kristin Weeks Duncanson is an owner and partner at Duncanson Growers and the Highland Family Farms in Minnesota. She and her husband raise corn, soybeans, rye, oats, specialty corn and hogs with a commitment to a triple bottom line approach: economic profitability, environmental improvement and community engagement. Ms. Duncanson is also a consultant at KCOE ISOM, where she helps producers collaborate on conservation and sustainability planning. An advisor to the Meridian Institute’s AGree project and a member of the board of the Minnesota AgriGrowth Council, she recently became trustee for the Minnesota, South Dakota and North Dakota chapter of the Nature Conservancy. Ms. Duncanson started her career as a legislative aide in the Washington, D.C. office of Senator Rudy Boschwitz. A graduate of Luther College, she was a policy fellow at the University of Minnesota Humphrey Institute and also completed the TEPAP executive program for agricultural producers at Texas A&M.
